Each year I take some time off from traveling and participating in some crazy sports that most people call extreme sports. I like to take that time off to spend with family and usually my time off coincides with winter because I am no fan of cold weather. I am a sports junkie and an adrenaline seeker, but it is definitely great to get a break here and there. While I am on the break there is one thing I do not want to happen though. I do not want to get out of shape so that I have to recondition my body after each and every break.
If you have ever thought of winter sports such as snowboarding and skiing as being a little on the boring side, we've got some really extreme winter sports to tell you about. Slegooning is a an extreme winter sport that you might find very interesting. In this sport, participants zip rapidly down a snow covered slopes in single person sleds with protective roll bars called Slegoons. These people are in full-contact races, and can continue even when overturned. It's one of the most cutting edge sledding sports in the world, but it's not for the faint of heart.
Yesterday morning sad news broke out as it was learned that beloved motocross freestyle rider, Jim McNeil passed away after sustaining serious injuries during practice for an exhibition that was to take place at the Texas Motor Speedway before the NASCAR race. The exhibition was just one of the many stops on the Boost FMX team's tour with dates all over world.
After the accident, Jim McNeil was air lifter to the hospital in Fort Worth where he was pronounced dead. McNeil was only 32 years old, and he had been a member of the Boost Mobile FMX team for the last nine years. He got his start...

I think not. The other day I found this video that offered underwater skateboarding. I thought that maybe there was something that I was missing out on so I watched these kids in a pool full of water basically just hopping around and floating with a skateboard around their feet.
